Adelaide, Priorslee’s school dog

Adelaide is Mrs Brewer’s Australian Labradoodle. Adelaide’s job is to support children’s and staff’s wellbeing. Most of the time, she can be found working with Mrs Brewer or snoozing in her office! Adelaide’s favourite activities are greeting children at the gates, visiting classrooms and spending time with individual pupils, including going for walks and practising tricks.

Mrs Brewer chose the Australian Labradoodle breed due to its mild temperament and hypo-allergenic coat. Adelaide has attended training with Siobhan Dunn from Puppy and Friends Academy https://www.puppyandfriends.co.uk/ since she was three months old and is working towards becoming PAWS accredited https://paws-therapydogs.com/schools/

When moving around school, Adelaide is kept on a lead and is under close control.

 

In order for your child to interact with Adelaide, you will need to give consent via the MCAS app. To do this:

• Log on to your MCAS app
• From the MENU, select ‘Parental Consent’
• It will look like this:

 

 

• Click the relevant option – ‘YES, I give consent’ OR ‘NO, I do not give consent’
• Click ‘SAVE’
