Our School Grounds – A Hidden Gem of Green and Growth
Step onto our site and you’ll quickly realise—we’re a bit like a TARDIS! From the outside, you might not expect it, but we’re incredibly lucky to have extensive grounds that offer space, inspiration, and adventure for every child.
We’re proud to have a Daily Mile all-weather track that keeps our children active whatever the season, and a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) that supports a wide range of sports and activities. Our school is set within a spacious playing field, beautifully surrounded by tall, leafy trees that create a peaceful and inspiring environment for children to play and explore.
Our youngest learners in Pre-School have not one, but two dedicated outdoor spaces designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Our Reception outdoor area is large, ever-evolving, and flows beautifully into the Forest School, creating a seamless transition from structured play to wild exploration.
Our on-site Forest School area is a magical space where children connect with nature, explore freely, and learn through hands-on experiences.
The main playground is a hive of activity, featuring three dedicated courts complete with football goals and netball posts. Nearby, our outdoor library invites children to enjoy stories in the fresh air, while our Opal Project play equipment is refreshed and enhanced every month to keep play exciting and inclusive.
Indoors, we’re just as well-equipped. Our multi-use school hall hosts everything from assemblies to performances. We have a dedicated library—because we love reading—and a children’s kitchen used for cooking club and curriculum-linked culinary adventures. We even have a kiln, regularly used by our amazing resident artist, Mrs Atkins, to bring children’s creativity to life in clay.
Throughout the school, you’ll find large communal areas and breakout spaces that support collaboration, calm, and connection beyond the classroom.
