At Priorslee Academy Trust, the purpose of Computing is for all pupils to be confident digital citizens who have the knowledge, skills, and understanding to use technology safely, creatively and effectively. We ensure children have access to a high-quality computing education, have access to physical equipment which helps support effective teaching of the computing curriculum and we safeguard children in school who access online devices.
We follow the Purple Mash scheme of work where teachers can provide fun and engaging lessons linked to the national curriculum.
Our dream is for all children to be confident digital learners and can stay safe when using technology. As child are part of a digital generation that has grown up in a world surrounded by technology and the internet our aim is to ensure they are safe when they are communicating, learning and interacting. We hope that our Computing curriculum has a positive impact on learners as they adapt to a digital world.
